Step right up to the On Deck Circle, our new blog for everything sports in the Northwest Corner of Connecticut. This blog will cover schools from the Berkshire League, Wolcott Tech High School and Torrington High School.

All three members of our sports staff will provide content to this blog every week.

Pete Paguaga

Sports Editor

Pete recently joined the Register Citizen staff as sports editor at the beginning of 2013. Pete graduated from Southern Connecticut State University in May of 2012 and originally from Long Island, New York. In his free time Pete likes to play and watch sports. Sean Meenaghan

Assistant Sports Editor

Sean joined the Register Citizen staff as Assistant Sports editor in September of 2012. He graduated from Southern Connecticut State University in May of 2012 and calls Trumbull his home. In his free time Sean likes to take photos and watch sports. He won the longest drive contest at the 2009 SCSU Golf Outing, with a 325 yard drive. Peter Wallace

Peter worked in public relations in Atlanta, Jacksonville and Washington, D.C. before making the switch to the fun side. He freelanced for 10 years while running a small PR company in Newington, then started full-time with The Register Citizen in 1999. Peter had two daughters and likes to hangout with his girlfriend.
